Thanks for another great song Zach! I agree that it is a song that encourages compassion. But how do we get there? By reflecting on the compassion God has bestowed on us. We all have pain and deal with it in different ways, like the song displays. But there is only one true way to be healed completely. It is a great lie that time heals all wounds. And I, at one point, believed it myself. What ultimately heals these wounds? Forgiveness, mercy and love. All these can be found at the cross of Christ. Eph 4:32, Gal 5:14, Rom 13:8, Col 3:12-14, James 2:13. Let us reflect on Gods compassion for us so that we may be compassionate towards others.

The title feels like a reminder I can carry with me, bringing softness to moments when it’s needed.
Oh that last line - “pray this house floats like an ark!” I love the symbolism of that!
